Energy WinterElast is a two-component waterproofing product based on water polymer-rubber dispersion, mineral fillers, pigments, and hardening agent. Energy WinterElast is applied with reinforcing layer of glass-fiber net.

Preliminary preparation:

Energy WinterElast can be applied on concrete base, cement coatings, coats, gypsum cardboard, brickworks, poured asphalt, bitumen materials, metal surfaces /preliminary coated with primer/, thermoinsulating I materials, etc. Substrates with bigger pores have to be pre-patted with cement coating. The substrate has to be solid, well cleanedq without dust, unstable substances and others that reduce the adhesion. Prior application the substrate has to be slightly wetted /without puddles/.

Preparation of Energy WinterElast for application:

Pour the liquid component into a clean container and stir thoroughly. Add gradually the hardener /the powder component/ while permanently stirring with mechanical mixer till a homogenous mixture without any lumps is obtained. Let the mixture “cure” approximately 5 minutes and stir again 1-2 minutes fully homogenizing it and it is ready for application.
Depending on the weather conditions and the absorption ability of the substrate, add up to 5 % water /if necessary/ to obtain a brush applicable consistency. Recurrently stir the mixture in order to preven segregation.

Performance:

1. Spread primer, composed of Energy WinterElast and water in ratio 1:1, over the whole surface. Wait until it fully dries, approx. 30min.
2. Apply the first layer of Energy WinterElast with a brush (appr. 1,5 Kg/m2) in strips with the same width as the reinforcing material, including the vertical details /side boards, shafts, chimneys. Place the reinforcing material, glass-fiber net, onto the fresh layer of Energy WinterElast and press it with a brush, till it is fully soaked and fully sticked to the substrate.
3. Spread, crossway, two more layers of  Energy WinterElast. Wait till full drying of every layer before laying the next.

  • Every layer of Energy WinterElast is with approx. thickness of 1,5 mm.

Plastic buckets of 10 kg and 40kg /containing precisely proportioned liquid component and hardener, separately packed/.
  • Under floorings – 4 kg/m2
  • Instead of floorings – 5 kg kg/m2
  • Underground repairs – 4,5 kg/m2
  • At high temperatures, on windy and sunny days, it is recommended to apply every next layer of Energy WinterElast after wetting the substrate with water. That will insure the best conditions for the curing process. The tools should be cleaned with water before drying of the material. The hardened Energy WinterElast could be cleaned only mechanically .
